Portugal is the world's leading producer of cork, and this experience takes you to the heart of that remarkable industry: a traditional factory where raw cork is transformed into craftsmanship and design.

The visit begins with an introductory film about the cork oak tree and the world of cork, followed by a guided tour of the factory led by a specialist who explains every stage of the process — from harvesting cork in the montado, through selection and preparation, to the final baling process. It is a fascinating journey through a production chain that combines tradition, sustainability, and Portuguese expertise.

The tour then continues to the showroom, where cork reveals one of its most surprising facets: elegant fashion accessories made from cork leather. Lightweight, stylish, and entirely natural, these creations demonstrate the extraordinary versatility of this unique material.

The experience concludes with a hands-on workshop, where each participant creates their own cork accessory — a bracelet, necklace, ring, or brooch. A unique handmade keepsake to take home and treasure.

Free admission. Limited capacity. Advance registration required.
Each participant may register for only one tour. Registration is open until 10pm on June 22.
