This guided tour takes visitors into the historic heart of Faro, revealing the soul of a city with more than two thousand years of history through a leisurely walk along its streets.

Passing through medieval walls, quiet courtyards, and façades that preserve centuries of memory, the route explores the most iconic landmarks of Faro's Old Town — from the Cathedral to the Arco da Vila. Every stone, every tile, and every street name tells a story: from the Roman and Moorish periods to the city's reconstruction following the 1755 earthquake, and Faro's role as the capital of the Algarve.

More than a sightseeing tour, this is an invitation to slow down, observe closely, and discover the city from within — its architecture, traditions, and the fascinating details that make Faro unique in southern Portugal.

Ideal for first-time visitors, but equally rewarding for those who already know Faro and wish to experience it again through a different lens.
